Updates to several courses

Microsoft announces new courses around Azure affecting AZ-103, AZ-203, AZ-300 and AZ-301. It is worth to notice, that Microsoft does not intent to change the name of the certification itself. It’s totally up to you but if you are in the middle of the preparation for the AZ-103, AZ-203, AZ-300 or AZ-301, it is still worth a shot.

On top of it, Microsoft will leave the old exam in market for 90 days after the new version becomes available. And you are eligible to the certification with any kind of combination of AZ-300/AZ-303 and AZ-301/AZ-304. E.g. if you have prepared yourself for the AZ-300 and you passed the exam. With the AZ-304 passed, you will earn the Azure Architecture Expert certification. As you can see, you don’t need to way if you have already planned for the next exam.

Here is the timeline for all the affected courses:

  • AZ-103 becomes AZ-104 (this update will be published around March 31, 2020)
  • AZ-203 becomes AZ-204 (this update will be published around March 2, 2020)
